After my mom passed away in May of 2019, my brother and I began the process of cleaning out the house that we grew up in. We took a walk down memory lane and reminisced on the 53 years of wonderful times spent in the home that Vin and Flo built.
During this tedious task, we had a number of individuals approach us as to when we would be selling this three-bedroom, two bath ranch house located on an acre of land in Canastota. This was a well-known home in this little village that would sparkle at Christmas time with thousands, upon thousands of lights that my dad put up every year, celebrating the season. People would stop by asking what we were selling it for, and if they could look at it, so I would take them through. At the time, I said to my brother, let’s try and do it ourselves, without a realtor. I then started posting information on social media that we would be soon selling this home. I sold it quickly, and the rest is history.
Buyer? Seller? Would I advise anyone to navigate the real estate market on their own? Absolutely not. Back to the story..after almost five months of cleaning out the home, and selling it, I found that I had an unbelievable void in my life. I had cared for my mom for almost six years, and my time on weekends was spent with her. I needed something now to occupy my weekends and time…So, I decided to do something that I have always wanted to do..sell real estate. I took a class, got my license..and really, now, the rest is history.
History…I have a solid background in communications, writing, marketing, sales, advertising, social media, but most importantly, customer service. I absolutely LOVE working with people to provide top-notch customer service, and will always go above and beyond for them. I am a great negotiator, and a problem-solver…give me a challenge…I love to conquer it.
I’m very active in my community, serving on the Town of Manlius Planning Board, and coordinating events for the Village of Manlius, including the Memorial Day Parade and the July 4th celebration. I love sports..bleed Orange. Please don’t hold it against me if you are not a fan of the New England Patriots or New York Yankees. Promise, we will still work well-together. I love dogs..grew up with Miniature Schnauzers, and currently have a pup named Rocco. I love to travel, and will definitely go the extra mile for my clients.
